Description
A hardy native wisteria prized for its fragrant, lavender-blue flower clusters that appear in early summer. Unlike many Asian wisterias, this Kentucky selection is more restrained and reliable, making it a beautiful choice for arbors, pergolas, and trellises.
H: 15–25’ W: 8–12’ Zone: 4–9 – SUN
Zone 4/5 care: Very cold hardy and one of the best-suited to northern gardens. Plant in full sun for best flowering and provide strong support such as a pergola or sturdy trellis. Prune lightly after flowering to control size and encourage branching. Young plants may take a few years to establish before flowering regularly.
