Description
Rhododendron ‘PJM Elite’ is a vigorous evergreen shrub renowned for its exceptional cold hardiness and showy lavender-pink blooms. This cultivar is part of the PJM Group, hybrids resulting from crosses between Rhododendron carolinianum and Rhododendron dauricum var. sempervirens, developed by the Mezitt family in the 1930s and 1940s.
Maintenance Notes:
Prefers moist, well-drained soils with pH between 5.5-7.5. Apply rhododendron fertilizer in spring. Trim after flowering.
