Description
‘Youngii’ _ ‘Youngii’ is a vigorous, mound-forming to spreading, herbaceous perennial with erect stems bearing narrowly ovate, dark green leaves, pale orange when young and turning dark red in autumn, and terminal racemes of red buds opening to bright yellow flowers in summer.\
Oenothera is Greek for “Wine Drinking”. Legend has it that roots of some species were used as relishes with after-dinner wines.
