Description
Large clusters of lavender pink flowers are held aloft by lance shaped, lightly toothed deep green foliage. Different from most other catmints in that large flower clusters crown multiple stalks, leaves are larger, and a moist site is preferred. Flowers and leaves of Nepeta Candy Cat have a mild minty scent.
When Nepeta’s stems are broken, they release an aroma into the air that tends to attract cats, thus its common name, Catmint.
Shearing back spent blooms encourages reblooming.
