Heuchera/Coral Bells – Smoke and Mirrors

Description

A brightly colored Heuchera that will offset the green color typical in shade gardens. New foliage is pewter gray with a rosy blush, which mature to solid gray with dark gray veining. Leaves are flat with a matte finish. Attractive, light rose flowers are produced on very tall, upright dark stems and requires vernalization to bloom. This variety has performed extremely well in the heat and humidity of the Southern United States.Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
