Heuchera/Coral Bells – Fire Chief

Description

Mid-sized leaves of glowing wine red make a gorgeous medium size mound. These are topped with bi-colored pink and white flowers on dark red stems. Foliage turns a little browner in the winter, but otherwise holds its wine red color. Blooms continuously spring, summer, and fall like H. ‘Paris’. You’ll need to call the Fire Chief when you see this one!

Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
