Hazel/Corylus – Harry Lauder Walking Stick

Description

Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’, commonly known as Harry Lauder’s walking stick, is a contorted filbert, a deciduous woody shrub with gnarly, twisted branches. Rounded green leaves are serrated and slightly hairy. Yellow catkins hanging from the branches create quite a show in the late winter or early spring.
