Description
Cooler fall temperatures transform the green foliage of this upright grass into intense red and oranges hues. Silvery plumes dance above the firey foliage like smoke. A show-stopping upright accent in the fall garden.
Genus name comes from the Greek words miskos meaning a stem and anthos meaning flower in reference to the stalked spikelets.
