Delphinium – Highlander Flamenco

Description

Delphinium Highlander ‘Flamenco’ is a magnificent cultivar with ruffled, fully double flowers in shades of dusky, deep raspberry pink held on strong, upright stems 3-4 feet tall. Removing spent flower spikes will result in another round of blooms on secondary spikes in late summer and fall.
Delphinium are a classic garden perennial. These plants are excellent for adding height to small spaces. Their tall flower spikes are easily recognizable when they come into flower in summer. When in flower, some varieties may require staking to avoid toppling over in rough weather, especially taller varieties. Newer hybrids are longer lived than some of the more traditional cultivars.
