Clematis – Hagley Hybrids

 After a very early spring pruning, Hagley Hybrid will grow medium-to-large, bushy and floriferous—perfect for rambling through shrubs and borders. It’ll bloom on new wood, so accidentally pruning away the buds isn’t a big concern. The flowers pale from fully pink to nearly white as they mature, and you’ll find that they color better in slightly shady spots. The Royal Horticultural Society presented Hagley Hybrid with the Award of Garden Merit for its ability to grow quickly, beautifully and hardily.
