Clematis – Elsa Spath

Description

A beautiful heritage climber that is smothered in large lavender to lilac-purple flowers in early summer with repeat bloom throughout the season; flowers are large and overlap making them more prominent. Dead and weak vines should be removed in late winter, and remaining vines should be trimmed back to the first buds that are seen to remove dead stems. Grows best in full sun with roots are kept cool/shaded.
