Striking spikes of deep blue and white hooded flowers rise above lush, deeply cut foliage in late summer to early fall. This elegant perennial adds height and dramatic color to partially shaded borders and woodland gardens.
H: 36–48” W: 18–24” Zone: 3–7 – PART SUN / PART SHADE
Zone 4/5 care: Prefers rich, evenly moist soil and benefits from afternoon shade in warmer locations. Plants are long-lived and generally deer resistant. All parts of the plant are highly toxic if ingested, so handle with care and avoid planting where children or pets may be tempted to handle it. Staking may be helpful in windy sites.
