Description
We haven’t been this excited about an Echinacea introduction since the first of the KISMET™ series! Single, broad petaled flowers each look a slice of watermelon. So pretty! Compact habit and tons of flowering stems have made this our most sought after plant in years. Uniformity of this clonal variety make scheduling and sales easy. ‘Sweet Sandia’ is destined to become a favorite.
Praised for their cheerful brightly colored flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today’s garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter. Requires very little fertilizing.
