Description
The Coralburst crabapple tree is a neat, compact, rounded crab with tiny dark green leaves. Ruby red flower buds open to a showy semi-double pink flower. The fruit is 1/2″ and reddish-orange. This tree is an excellent accent tree for a courtyard or a flat strip of land, raised bank, or terrace bordering a river or canal. The growth rate is so slow pruning may not be needed. It’s extremely hardy and disease-free, especially to apple scab.
